In Tatarstan, the hulls of three hydrofoil and hydrogen-powered vessels were solemnly laid down


February 28 at the Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky, a solemn ceremony of laying the hulls of two high-speed passenger hydrofoil ships "Meteor-2020" for Tatarstan and Russia's first innovative pleasure and excursion vessel powered by hydrogen fuel was held. The spacious interior of the Meteor for 124 passengers is equipped with comfortable seats, access to multimedia content via WI-FI. Particular attention is paid to the creation of conditions for the transportation of passengers with limited mobility.

The hydrogen-powered vessel was developed by the Krylov State Research Center. Recall that the contract on the construction of the first vessel of its kind in Russia was signed between the plant and the scientific center on September 15, 2022, as part of the XI St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

"Meteors" will be named after the Heroes of the Soviet Union - Mikhail Devyatayev, fighter pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union, captain of the first Meteor ship and Tatar poet, war correspondent Musa Jalil.
